White-crested Coquette
The The white-crested coquette (Lophornis adorabilis) is a relatively rare species of hummingbird found in a small area encompassing the western coast of Costa Rica and partially Panama. Like all hummingbirds, it is a tiny bird, weighing no more than 3 grams. A characteristic feature of this species is the longer feathers growing from the back of its head, giving it a somewhat cheeky appearance.
