Lively Observer
While walking through Denali National Park in Alaska, I had the pleasure of encountering this charming stoat. This small predator from the mustelid family was very lively and simultaneously curious. It was challenging to catch him still because he would freeze in place for just a few seconds, observing me with interest. After these brief moments of rest, he energetically leaped from branch to stone, covering a few meters in this manner. His white belly would appear and disappear, only to reappear moments later, showcasing its whiteness while observing me from another spot. I'm not entirely sure who was the greater attraction for whom...
