A bloody feast
Although lions are efficient predators, successful hunts do not occur every day. Much depends on the availability of prey, the hunting skills of the predator, and various external factors. Besides, there is often no such necessity. If lions manage to hunt a sufficiently large prey, they can consume even several tens of kilograms of meat at once, satisfying their needs for a long time. The consumption of such prey itself can last for several days, creating a bloody feast for the lion pride.
