Kudu
The Kudu antelope emerges from the tall grass covering the wetlands in the Okavango Delta. The beauty of this magnificent antelope lies in its long, approximately 120cm, spiraled horns. However, these horns also present challenges for the Kudu. Occasionally, during combat, the horns may become entangled, leaving the antelope unable to free itself. In such cases, they succumb to starvation and exhaustion. Unfortunately, these splendid horns also serve as prized trophies for hunters, who eagerly pursue them.
