Tired trunk?
An elephant's trunk is a complex and handy tool. It's made up of around 40,000 muscles and serves a bunch of purposes, like lifting food, tearing branches, sipping water, communicating, etc. No wonder all those hard working muscles might be feeling a bit worn out. Did the elephant hang its trunk on the tusk to take a rest, or was it just avoiding stepping on it? ;) We can't be sure why that big elephant decided to move through the dry Amboseli National Park in Kenya this way.
