Near Relative
I captured the portrait of this silverback gorilla in the Impenetrable Bwindi Forest in Uganda. The forest earned its name due to its dense, primal nature, making navigation challenging in its dark depths. Within this pristine environment, these majestic primates have found their sanctuary. It was an incredible experience to be among them in their natural habitat. They commanded respect not only with their strength and imposing size but also through the intelligence evident in their behavior and gazes. Truly, they are our close relatives in every sense of the word.
