Time of predators
As night falls, the atmosphere grows increasingly eerie. Creatures that sought refuge from the hot African day within the quiet shade emerge from dense bushes. However, these aren't your friendly house cats; they're large, powerful, and hungry predators. In the cover of darkness, they gain an advantage over their prey, being less visible and possessing senses better suited to the nocturnal lifestyle compared to the diurnal antelopes. Unfortunately, not all antelopes will have a peaceful night's sleep this evening... In the photo, a female #leopard, captured in the #Chitabe area of Botswana.
