Long distance runner
African wild dogs, or painted dogs, are relentless long-distance runners. While they might not catch a swift antelope over short distances, they can pursue it for such an extended period, maintaining an average speed of 50 km/h. This relentless pursuit exhausts the prey, causing it to eventually slow down, making it vulnerable to the hungry pack. This strategy renders their hunting endeavors significantly more effective than those of large cats.
