The Glutton
Brown bears that inhabit the Brooks Falls area in Alaska are masters at accumulating fat. These furry giants can consume up to 40 salmon a day, which provides them with over 100,000 calories! As a result, they can reach a maximum weight of up to 780 kg, preparing them for their winter hibernation. This particular bear, already significantly chubby, returns from its evening feeding, ready for a well-deserved rest. Katmai NP, Alaska, USA
