Mud bath
We don't like our pets taking mud baths, but for wild animals it's a common and necessary habit. On hot days, elephants take mud baths whenever the opportunity arises. They do it to cool off and to protect themselves from the sun and parasites. Unlike humans, elephants like to feel dirt behind their ears :D Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
