Last photo of Ulysses
End of March, we had the incredible pleasure of staing in the company of the largest land animals, in the beautiful Amboseli National Park. One of the characteristics of this park is that it is inhabited by the so-called "tuskers" - elephants with extremely long tusks. One of them is, or should I say "was", an elephant named Ulysses, seen in the photo. Taking pictures of him in the evening time, it never crossed my mind that I could be the author of probably one of the last photos of this living giant. The next day we received information that he was found dead ... Apparently the cause of death is natural, although there were no signs that anything could be wrong with him.
