Pack of pups
Young wild dogs are treated in a special way. Although only an alpha pair can have an offspring, puppies are protected and fed by all the members of the pack. What is also unique for wild dogs, compared to puppies or cubs of other species,, is that they have a priority in access to the hunted prey, even over their parents, an alpha pair.
