Elephants, of all their senses, have the least developed eyesight - they can see sharply only up to 20 meters. Their eyes, like those of humans, are full-sized from birth, i.e. they do not grow with the rest of the body. The sense of smell or hearing are quite different, they are phenomenal, but that's a topic for another post :)
