Hippos are very aggressive individuals. They spend the day in the water, protecting themselves from the scorching sun and scaring everyone around. They fight other hippos for a place around them or threatrn predators approaching the water - no one can feel confident in their company. They are considered one of the most dangerous animals in Africa for a reason.
