Bath in the dust
Elephants don’t seem very tidy, because you can usually see them dressed in mud, dust, etc., but they love baths. And it doesn't always have to be a bath in water. Sometimes they just need mud, earth or simple dust, as in the case of this female and the young. Anyway, for the rare desert elephants from Damaraland in Namibia, a water bath is a rather rare and exceptional pleasure. Besides, dusting itself with dust has also a different purpose than soaking in water - in this case it is about getting rid of parasites.
