Deadvlei
Dried trees photographed in the early morning sun with dunes in the background. These dunes surround the dead valley of Deadvlei in Namibia. Several hundred years ago, the valley was overgrown with acacias, but the river, which supplied it with water, changed its course, which led to the trees mortification. Thanks to the dry desert climate, the remains of the trees did not decay completely and they still stand there and make the valley unique.
